Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent
Founded in 2009, Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent is a local, faith-based, non-profit organization working towards a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty.
With the build of our first house scheduled for the spring of 2013 we are always looking for volunteers. If you would like to become involved or are looking for more information please visit our website at http://www.habitatchatham-kent.ca or call our local office at 519-354-0430 (ext. 245)

Pennies will soon be obsolete and although not worth much individually, they can add up to a much needed home for a local family in need of affordable housing. Pennies are currently being collected at…[Read more]
