Geocaching Chatham-Kent
Geocaching is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices and then share their experiences online. – http://geocaching.com
I feel that by creating a powercache in Chatham-Kent, we would create an excellent opportunity for local citizens to enjoy a healthy outdoor activity, but also draw avid cachers from Canada, the U.S. and around the world to discover Chatham-Kent.
I believe this could be a significant Tourism draw, and perhaps serve as a good Economic Development move as well.
I am looking for individuals who would like to help me develop this idea and make it a reality.
I have an excellent map-based web platform that could be used to map out caches, and offer other potential visitors with information to create a great getaway attraction for cachers (accommodation info… etc.).
